Different College Education?

Here is a NY Times education story about going to college someplace different (another country). These people got international experience and saved money by looking globally for a school.

As with almost everything else, begin by thinking about your goal, then questioning each assumption. For example, if the goal is a good job and to get the job education and experience are needed, what are the ways to get there? Is it only college? How about volunteering?
